100+ years of expertise

Our sales support the traditional livelihoods of villagers in rural Sri Lanka. With the knowledge and expertise of multiple generations, fruit and spice millers harvest our fruits and spices by traditional methods to retain their natural potency and flavour.  These traditional production methods allow village populations to utilise their ancient wisdom and expertise to survive in this modernised and mechanised world of manufacture by producing this 100% natural unrefined product. Backed by generations of expertise of the harvesters and packed in a certified ISO and Organic processing mill, spice production plays a vital role in the rural village community’s employment, welfare, and well-being. This mill also organises religious and cultural events to inculcate a sense of belonging to a bigger cause, bringing a sense of pride and community to the villagers using age-old knowledge, treading lightly, and making a living for their families sustainably.

Price for quality

Kokonati & Heirloom products are made in small special batches for the Kiwi market. Specifically not mass-manufactured in massive commercial factories. So we do not enjoy the economies of scale that supermarket brands do. Instead, we pay the millers and farmers a fair price. Multigenerational expertise and knowledge guide the making of every Kokonati, Heirloom & Earthlady product. This easily justifies the premium price for the premium quality you are getting.

Loyalty

We are fiercely loyal to the millers and families we work with, so we want to reward you for your loyalty. Now, you can collect loyalty rewards points every time you purchase a Heirloom product. Remember to sign up for the loyalty points (the tab on the far mid-right edge of this screen) and redeem loyalty points for a discount at checkout.

Packaging and recycling
