Easy Preparation in Six Simple Steps
- Mix & Hydrate: Pour 1 packet of Vegan Bolognaise Mix into a bowl. Add 1 cup (250ml) of water. Mix well and let stand for 20-30 minutes to fully rehydrate.
- Preheat & Sauté: Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of oil into the pan. Add the hydrated Bolognaise Mix and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
- Simmer & Stir: Add 1 and a half cups of water (375ml) into the pan. Stir well and let simmer for 10-15 minutes. Stir the sauce every 2-3 minutes while simmering, until the Bolognaise sauce is thickened.
- Serve & Savor: Serve the rich Bolognaise sauce with cooked pasta.
Optional Freshness Boost
For an extra burst of flavor and freshness, consider the following:
- Sauté half an onion (diced) and 1 clove of minced garlic, inserting this step between steps 3 & 4.
- Add some fresh parsley to the cooked sauce or as a garnish.
